1050 Aluminum Sheet Plate
1050 aluminum sheet is a high-quality industrial pure aluminum alloy with an aluminum content of at least 99.5%. As a non-heat-treatable alloy, it can only be strengthened through cold working (strain hardening), making it ideal for applications where formability, electrical conductivity, and corrosion resistance are more important than mechanical strength.
The high purity of 1050 alloy gives it excellent ductility, allowing for deep drawing, bending, and complex forming without cracking. They are further protected with plastic film (such as HDPE, PVC, PE, or PET) or wrapped in hard kraft paper to protect against moisture and rain, ensuring the sheets remain clean and free of dirt during transportation. (Each package contains a desiccant to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination during transportation.)
- For additional protection during transportation, the sheets are mounted on wooden supports and reinforced with steel strapping to protect against impacts and maintain the sheet’s geometric shape.
